We're actually having a cool-snap in Florida! Hooray for temps in the high 50's today, so we can wear sweaters, boots, and scarves.
I'm wearing a black wool Banana Republic skirt, thrifted two years ago. I wear it whenever it's cold enough, because it sees only the inside of my closet for nine months a year. My top is a slouchy cotton pullover by Romeo and Juliet Couture, from the 15 Dollar Store (check them out: mostly for younger women, but a few timeless pieces).
My bronze cowboy boots and small pendant finish the look. Oh, except for my enormous scarf. I adore this soft, colorful scarf and wear it a lot. I bought it via eBay, and I believe it was from H & M originally, so it was very affordable. But I can play with it all day, making a wrap, an obi-belt, a fluffy necklace, and etc.

ReplyDeleteCold snap!!! Yay!!! Wool Banana Republic skirt-- what a sweet thrifted find. I adore vintage Banana Republic. Do you remember back in the day when it was literally safari themed clothing? Your skin looks fantastic, as usual. Love the uber long scarf and the bronze boots are out of control awesome,
ReplyDeleteBecky :)
the scarf is adorable, Patti!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for the long scarf ideas! I bought a super cute scarf on Modcloth and when it arrived it was very long. I kept it because I loved it but had no idea what to do without it-until now!

Always Summer
Fun scarf! I especially love those boots, wow!
ReplyDeleteGreat boots! I just love them.
ReplyDeleteFloral prints are so great for spring...and right now it's pretty much spring around here.
Ebay and Etsy may be my ultimate downfall. I just won a bid for Frye boots, and can't wait for them to arrive. After some weird warm days last week, it's back to normal winter weather, so hoping the Fryes will come in time to wear, like, every single day for the next three months...lol.
ReplyDeleteThe scarf is brilliant. I love how you add a very notable accessory to simple pieces to create a very beautiful and visible outfit. Of course, you are so elegant, that you could probably throw that scarf over a grain sack and make it look amazing.
Big fan,
Lynne
The bronze metallic booties really make this outfit! I love the scarf - it elevates this with all the pattern and colour. Lovely, Patti!
ReplyDeleteThat scarf is making me crazy!!! I LOVE IT. The gleam of those gorgeous boots caught my eye too. Enjoy the cooler weather while it lasts!!
ReplyDeleteI'm loving the oversized scarf, and am bedazzled by your boots!
ReplyDeleteI love that slouchy sweater! I'd better check out that link. And you know I love those boots - so cool.
ReplyDeleteBig scarves are great - I love to use them as shawls when I need just a little extra warmth.
Happy Monday (Holiday)!

ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful scarf. LOTS of potential!
Are those boots iridescent or just very shiny?
AND, thank you so much for my giveaway prize! Haven't tried it yet.
Didn't want to scare the boyfriend. Hahahaha.
I sure love your scarf but your sweater with pockets is awesome!
ReplyDeleteDenise
The scarf is a great finding, not only versatile but also of beauiful floral pattern. You look fabulous! I love to use a big scarf in summer as a wrap skirt.
ReplyDeleteI adore anything that is as versatile as that scarf. I think you need to give us a lesson on how you make yourself 'glow', you seriously look amazingly youthful in every picture. What a beautful woman you are!

ReplyDeletePatti, What a perfect Monday morning outfit. I like the slouch in that sweater; it still looks polished enough for work, but has a vibe that says chic and relaxed. Speaking of work, I'd best get going. Oh, scarfs, especially gorgeous large ones like yours are so versatile. Love it.
